4 Ways To Get Backlinks To Your Website

Getting traffic and visitors to your website is the number one thing you need to do once you have your website up and running. Traffic is key and learning how to do that can be quite challenging. Once you learn how to get backlinks to your website you will have learned one way to get free traffic.

One way to get backlinks to your website is to write articles and post them in the article marketing directories. Learning how to write articles is a very key component in your career as an Internet/Article Marketer. Your going to have to learn this skill so that you can fill your website with content. For some people this can be very easy, especially if it is something that you are very passionate about. For others it is a skill that can be learned. The more you do it the easier it gets. So hang in there. Posting your articles on the article marketing directories and putting your link in the resource box at the bottom is one way to get links to your website.

There is a certain skill that needs to be learned if you are going to rank high in the search engines with your articles. The really cool thing is that you will also have the extra pull from the high-ranking article marketing directories to give your article that extra push. The other skill that you can learn that will be very valuable is SEO, that is Search Engine Optimization. When you learn this skill you'll have that extra pull with the search engines to bring you possibly to the first or second page of Google. I have done this many times by going through the proper training and getting the education I needed to do this.

Another way to get backlinks to your website is by posting a link to your webpage or article at the social bookmarking websites. There are very many out there to choose from. Just do a Google search and you will find them.

You can go there and become a member for free and start posting away. Every time you write an article try to make a habit to get some backlinks. That way it is done and out of your way. I have forgotten to do that in the past and found that I could have saved much time by getting it done right away. So make sure and go get backlinks to your website.

Another way to get back links to your website is to post on other blogs. Now you don't want to go out and spam people blogs. You want to go and find relevant websites that are relevant to yours. That means that if your website is about Internet Marketing you don't want to go and post on an automotive parts blog if you are doing this for backlinks. The more relevant the website to yours will look good for you and Google will like it to.

The last but now least way to get backlinks to your website is posting on forums. I have an internet marketing neighbor who has literally tripled his income and traffic just by using this one technique. Of course, it needs to be relevant to your website and the information that you give needs to be of quality.

Remember backlinks will get you free traffic and traffic is key.

Generate Quality Traffic To Your Website

Successful online marketing depends on your ability to generate quality traffic to your website. The worst thing to happen is that you build a website and no one comes. You put a lot of time and effort, blood, sweat, and maybe the odd tear or two, into setting it up, and there are none, or a just a few, dismal clicks.

To prevent this happening to you, and to ensure your website has got a fair chance of grabbing a good share of that traffic -- traffic that your competition is no doubt getting, these are some of the things you can do to generate quality traffic to your website:

1. Choose a niche, one that you've researched well, and start writing articles. Articles are an effective and free way to drive traffic to your site. It gives you the opportunity to write about something relevant on your site and the opportunity to place direct site links into each of your articles. However, remember to ensure your articles contain relevant, quality content. Write at least 2 articles a day, 5 times per week. And submit them to as many directories as you can. You will become an expert in your niche, and in time people will perceive you as an expert, adding authority to your site. This will generate quality traffic to your website -- leading to more clicks and conversions.

2. Use SEO (Search Engine Optimization) effectively. Ensure that each web page is fully optimized using relevant keywords, quality content, HTML, tracking and backlinks. If you optimize your site well, it will get high natural listings. These organic listings stand an excellent chance of being seen by people searching in your niche, clicking on your page, and going on to generate quality traffic to your website.

3. Utilize PPC (Pay per Click). This is another effective tool for you to engage to get those site visitors you need. It's an opportunity for you to promote your website by enticing people to click through, using a short, sharp, effective call to action. The key to this is to find and use the right keywords related to your niche, the ones that searchers are typing in to their search engines everyday to find your type of product. Then write a catchy, benefit statement, classified ad, related to your product.

So, you've got some knowledge of what can get those customers coming to your site in droves -- you know what you need to do to start. However, it's all very well knowing what you need to do to generate quality traffic to your website, but you need to know how and you need to make sure you know how to do it right -- the first time. You've built your website, you've written articles, paid money for pay per click campaigns and so on. You've expended time and energy. Now you need to get the right training, so you know that with every step of your campaign that you're implementing, that step is not a wasted opportunity. Don't flounder around trying to figure it out for yourself -- it won't work. Get the training. Your site is your business and a successful business is one that invests in skills and knowledge.

If you do that, then use that knowledge to implement strategies such as those I have outlined above, you will generate quality traffic to your website, and your visitors will become your buyers.

Many internet home business owners use a manual traffic exchange to drive traffic to their sites. Marketing a splash page and driving traffic to a main website has proven year after year to be effective.

The problem arises when you focus on only one thing. While posting an article can bring traffic it assumes that everyone who is searching for your particular niche will want to read the article. The same can be said about the other methods mentioned.Everyone is different and everyone searching the internet is searching in different ways.

You must also be aware of new methods that people are using to gain traffic. Just because you receive a decent amount of traffic with a particular method does not mean you should not also be looking for other sources.

The internet changes constantly and what is hot and working today can become cold and stop working almost overnight. If you are not prepared you could see your traffic have a sudden drop in traffic and have no idea how to regain it.
